Our Mission

Our Mission at Dance Du Coeur Sugar Land Dance Studio is to provide children and adults the opportunity to learn and practice dance in a state of the art facility and to receive instruction from highly trained professionals who are creative, current, and passionate. Learning to dance is much greater than learning steps and movements. It’s also about fostering a sense of artistry and expression. We hope that our students will develop and sustain a love and appreciation for performance art through dance and most importantly that they will always “dance from the heart”.

Our Team

When we first thought about starting Dance Du Coeur, we wondered who would be willing teach at a new, yet unproven studio. Kathy and I aren't dancers, we're just people who LOVE dance and want to encourage the growth of dancers by providing the best possible instruction, facility, and environment.

Remember the words "If you build it. They will come"? Turns out there's quite a bit of truth to that. We've been blessed to find many outstanding dance instructors and we are excited to have them as part of our team.   We're incorporating their ideas, giving them the tools they need to succeed,  and creating a place they are proud to work and call home as well. What I like even more about these wonderfully talented dancer instructors is how they teach. They all use positive reinforcement to get their points and ideas across to dancers. These are not football coaches with ballet shoes, they are special people who teach with grace, enthusiasm, and joy.  We think you will love them too.
